Ear shot

I just wrote a not to everyone what sound would you be if you could be one. That's a good question. I don't event think I could come up with an answer. Can you? I was listening to the city and heard many conversations but didn't hear any of them. That brings me to the realization that I really didn't want to actually "hear" what they were saying just the sound that they made. There were high pitches of women and children, some folks were on the phone. Just a buzz of conversations that don't make sense. Eavesdropping comes to mind and how my wife loves to do it. She will actually hush me to listen to some dinner party we are sitting near. Really now that is a little much.
But like many people she does it and shamelessly I might add. I rarely listen to conversations just the sounds they make. Whether it is a hum, roar, or buzz I listen to the waves and shrills of them. that's what I do I listen with a Queer's ear.
